  To all those who who bang on elders who post here

  and had the audacity and hypocritical nerve to suggest that no elder could provide anything to this forum that couldn't be gotten else where, i started a thread a little over a day ago with a link that was entittled "ks 2010".

  that link has been clicked on 1,156 times in a little over 24 hours.

  thats almost once a minute every minute non stop.

  When I first left it was because I was just so unhappy being a Witness and I figured being out could not be any worse . What I found was peace of mind .I no longer had anxiety about this world ending anytime soon, and i found freedom to express myself for the first time in over forty years .

  I too had my moments of "But what if they are right ".....reading Ray Franz books help dispell those thoughts for me . I was brought up with knowledge of much of what Ray spoke of so it helped me . For you something else may be needed because you were exposed to a whole new generation of fear mongering ........

  I think looking back and realizing the history of the Org . for what it really is might help you see it for what it is .....A man unhappy with his religion ,Pastor Russell, took beliefs he liked and was comfortable with then added his own spin and made up a new religion . There was no direction from God no special enlightenment . This site has a wealth of knowledge for you to take from ...stick around read some think on it reason on it and then make a decision for yourself what sounds believable .

  Take your time go slow . It can be overwhelming deprograming all that you have learned to this point . I found not being exposed to the constant barage from the KH and assemblies that slowly the fear subsided . Now after five yrs it is hard to remember how scary those first few months were .

  okay this morning my bil was in a car accident and we went to the hospital to be with him .

  (btw he is now home and going to be okay ) .

  I don't want to post the childs first name because he might google it and I would hate for it to show up here BUT I will give you a clue ....it is the name of the Big pine trees that live near Yosemite in Cali .....hint over continue on ....DON"T POST THE NAME

  Okay this morning my BIL was in a car accident and we went to the hospital to be with him .(BTW HE is now home and going to be okay )

  One of the CT techs is a witness from our old hall . After the procedure he came into the waiting room where I was . Nice young guy that he is , he came over to talk to me . He told me his wife and he just had their first baby .

  Then he tells me the babies name ......a very strange (but cool ) first name, but then proceeds to tell me the babies middle name is one of the Governing Bodies last names ! He said "Well I figure most people choose a bible name and we figured a Governing Body members name would be just as good " WTF ......w/o a blink of an eye this person does not see how they are putting these men on a pedestal ....so weird

  my dad read something online that i posted and told the other elders (he's the boe coord.).

  they've read me articles about homosexuality and tried to coerce me to stay with the family instead of living with my uncle for a week.

  i went to my uncle's anyway.

  So now what are they going to do ? Did they say this was an investigative meeting ? Will there be a JC next or were they satisfied you are just guilty of watching porn ?

  How are you holding up under all of this pressure ? Must be hard going to school and also having this crap on your mind .((((mom hug )))

  Did a Miner have a NWT?

  maybe so..... i thought i saw one of the miners hold up a nwt when being rescued from the mine.. maybe one of you noticed it too.. .

  here is an email i received:.

  Yes the miner with the first name Samuel is a Jehovah's Witness . My in laws sent me an email back when the accident happened that had a letter attached speaking about him .
